Abstract
The article reflects the main scientific and methodological approaches to the educational environment for children with special educational needs in the context of the concept of the New Ukrainian School. Foreign and domestic practice of its implementation was analyzed. The main positions for the flexible organization and zoning of class space for children in this category, as modern world trends that complement and balance each other, аre represent. It is about the balance between the division of the class into separate cells and the transformation of space for various types of activities, which is ensured primarily by the teacher.
