Abstract

The paper identifies the key characteristics of modern educational policy and trends in school education in Poland. It is noted that among the important structural reforms of school education in the Republic of Poland is the liquidation of gymnasiums and the extension of primary school to eight years. It is revealed that the modern process of school education reform in Poland is characterized by systemic, dynamic, innovative, aimed at improving the quality of education, updating the legal framework in the field of education, humanization of education and improvement of the decentralization vector.
