Abstract

The article draws attention to topical issues related to the problem of creating an educational environment in the context of the Concept of the New Ukrainian School.The analysis of the latest scientific investigations, state normative documents on the research problem is carried out. It is determined that the leading function of the textbook in terms of developmental orientation of the educational environment is the implementation of the principles of personality-oriented learning, namely: personal goal setting, choice of individual educational trajectory, meta-subject bases of learning process, learning productivity, learning situationality, learning reflection. The educational, coordination functions of the textbook are revealed on the example of textbooks of the Ukrainian language for 10th and 11th grades (authors Golub N, Goroshkina O., Novoselova V.).
