Abstract

In accordance with the provisions of the new State Standard of Basic and Complete General Secondary Education, the geographical component of the field of science "Natural Science" emphasizes the importance of respecting Ukrainian science as a component of world culture and understanding of the child's need to promote the achievements of Ukrainian scientists for foreign communities. Therefore, there is a need to find the best ways to select these achievements in the content of school geography, including the definition of basic principles. But any transformation of the content of education is impossible without following the basic didactic principles.
