Abstract
The modern scientist must not only conduct high-quality scientific research and publish the obtained scientific results in rating publications and preferably in open access, it is also important to present experimental data to implement the principles of open science. In order to avoid confusion and prevent misappropriation of scientific results, it is desirable for scientists to have digital identifiers of the author and maintain their own digital profiles. The use of open identification systems of researchers ORCID and Publons simplifies the process of attribution of the author with the results of his research, helps to find co-authors for research, expands the visibility of his publications and other important information about educational and scientific activities of the author. The article considers the classification of identification systems according to the methodological approach, namely, the earlier classification: identification systems (SIP), profile systems (SPP), mixed systems (SM), global systems (SG); current classification: permanent author identifiers (IDA), author / researcher profiles (PAS) and mixed systems (SM). Foreign and domestic experience of using the ORCID system for the development of information and research competence of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers was reviewed. A methodology for using open identification systems of ORCID and Publons researchers for the development of information and research competence of researchers and research and development staff has been developed and described. The effectiveness and feasibility of the developed methodology has been confirmed by two methods: expert evaluation and experimental verification (pedagogical experiment). The authors of this publication have prepared a number of educational and methodological materials that for use in the organization a special training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff, as well as for independent researchers.
