Abstract
The article is devoted to the VІ International scientific and practical conference “Scientific Elite and Its Role in the Development of Countries” on the occasion of the Out-of-School Education Day, which took place on September 25-26, 2020. In 2020, the conference was marked by two features —the online mode and the largest number of participants (over 1000 people). The purpose of the conference was to discuss the strategic issues of education and science development, to broader international partnership. The main directions of the conference were: scientific elite and out-of-school education in the development of countries; scientific elite in conjunction with the social and humanitarian development of countries; scientific elite in conjunction with the economic and legal development of countries; scientific elite in conjunction with the tourism and local history, ecological development of countries; scientific elite and the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The conference was organized by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, International Association of After-School Education, National Centre “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”, InstituteofEcologyofEconomics and Law, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Centre of Tourism and Local History for Youth. Among the conference participants were the teachers of education institutions, universities’ academic staff, researchers, the authorities, media, representatives of the public from Ukraine and abroad.
