Abstract
The article analyzes modern researches on the problems of systemic, creative, intuitive, visual, constructive thinking in domestic and foreign psychology and analyzes psychological studies of the thinking development in preschool children. Peculiarities of preschool children thinking are significant age-related changes in this leading function, which provides the formation of the ability to solve feasible problems, to adapt to the general conditions of life in the subject-game, social-communicative and constructional spheres. It has been established that thinking development process in children is associated with the transition from practical visual-effective forms to visual-figurative and discursive (verbal-logical) forms of thinking. The role of children's experimentation has also been revealed, which contributes to the stimulation of preschool children cognitive activity research, the flexibility of thinking, manifestations of creative search, creative solutions and creative perception in general.
