Abstract

In theses emphasize the importance of working with the textbook of students in grades 1-2 schools with instruction in Russian for effective enrichment of vocabulary in the Ukrainian language. The current textbooks "Ukrainian language" for 1-2 grades of schools with instruction in Russian are analyzed. It is noted that for the effective enrichment of the vocabulary of students in grades 1-2 schools with instruction in Russian on the basis of the competency approach, it is advisable to select and synthesize the appropriate exercises and tasks, rethinking the textbooks. It is promising for students to learn the lexical meaning of words and use them as a building material for phrases and sentences, wider use of various texts, it is important to take into account the specifics of each student's vocabulary and way of perceiving information, which necessitates differentiated tasks.
