Abstract

Tasks in the structure of a textbook of Ukrainian literature for grade 11 are competence-oriented and aimed at developing the ability of schoolchildren to apply theoretical knowledge in the process of analyzing literary works, to compare artistic reality with their own life, to learn to formulate value judgments regarding the conceptual meanings of works of art. Competence-based learning involves not only the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities by students in Ukrainian literature, but also the awareness of their practical application, respectively, the reader's activity and cognitive interest in the subject will significantly increase.
