Abstract

The article presents the curriculum of the elective course "Health and safety of human life. Grades 10-11». The peculiarity of the program is expressed in the implementation of the competence approach to learning. In this regard, its structure has been changed, consisting of the following columns: 1) Expected results of educational and cognitive activities of students, 2) The content of educational material. The first column takes into account the knowledge, activity and value approaches to the formation of subject competence. The second column of the program reveals the subject content enhanced with practical and value-oriented information about ways to preserve human health and life. In addition, the program includes cross-cutting content lines that enhance the content and development of key competencies.
