Abstract

The basic concepts of competence education are revealed. A list of cross-cutting vital key competencies to be developed in lessons in all subjects is provided. The optimality of mastering key competencies on a text-centric basis is substantiated. The possibilities of the semantic infrastructure of the text for the formation of the necessary background knowledge and the development of key competencies that cover all areas are revealed. Specific practical tasks for the development of basic universal competencies in students are proposed.
