Abstract

The author focuses on the problem of developing pupils' skills to ask appropriate questions, as well as to adequately answer these questions. The article reveals the decisive role of the dyad «question –answer» in the process of cognition and implementation of educational competence. The author considers the grounds for the classification of questions; identifies skills related to the art of formulating both questions and answers. In this article, the author describes possible ways that can successfully solve the problems of the educational dyad «question – answer».
