Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the psychological characteristics of the value orientations of adolescent girls and boys. A holistic analysis of the value orientations of adolescents is carried out, gender differences in the psychological structure of the motivational-semantic, procedural-productive and communicative-orientational aspects of the value orientations of adolescent girls and boys are revealed. The author has developed and substantiated a model for a holistic, multidimensional analysis of the value orientations of adolescent children; the features of the hierarchical structure of value orientations of adolescent girls and boys are analyzed in three main aspects: motivational-semantic, procedural-productive and communicative-orientational. The features of the correlation structure of the value orientations of girls and boys are revealed, the degree of connections between the components within the indicated aspects and between them is analyzed. A comparative characteristic of the integral structure of value orientations is made, based on the specifics of the relationships between the motivational-semantic, procedural-productive and communicative-orientational aspects in girls and adolescent boys. Recommendations have been developed for taking into account the age and sex characteristics of the value orientations of adolescent girls and boys in the practical activities of psychologists and teachers.
