Abstract

Theses are devoted to the coverage of the problem of stimulating the cognitive interest of lyceum students by means of a textbook of the Ukrainian language. The opinion is asserted that the cognitive interest of students under the condition of correct pedagogical organization of students' activity and systematic, purposeful educational activity can and should become a stable feature of the student's personality and effectively influence his development.
