Abstract
The article describes the main psychological types of child-parent relationships that are characteristic of the normal conditions of family functioning and quarantine due to the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine and in the world as a whole. In particular, it draws attention to the fact that modern parents use such basic behavioral strategies as: neglecting the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine by parents, lack of open response to the situation in family relationships, distraction manifested in attempts to switch to other activities; excessive involvement, which gives rise to anxiety, fear, panic in child-parent relationships; balanced type of communication between parents and children, characterized by the acceptance of the current situation and the search for new ways of relations in quarantine conditions, which will require changing the usual behaviors of both parents and children, new abilities and mobilization of personal resources and resources of all family system in the direction of increasing self-esteem, self-discipline, self-determination. Classical approaches to understanding typologies of child-parent relationships in psychological science and practice are presented, the potential of which can be used to provide psychological assistance to families under quarantine and the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine and around the world. Possible deformations in the development of the personality of the child due to the dominance of inadequate behavioral styles in the parent-child relationships under quarantine are outlined
