Abstract
The reform of the modern school has set teachers the task of practical orientation of teaching subjects of the natural-mathematical cycle. To solve this problem it is necessary: to ensure the completeness, systematicity and awareness of the basics of scientific knowledge, their strength and effectiveness; to acquaint students with the basic methods of learning about nature - observation and experiment; teach them to recognize physical, chemical, etc. phenomena and patterns in nature and technology; learn to use knowledge to explain and study natural phenomena, principles of operation of devices, technical equipment, etc. The initial phase of learning should be based on sensory cognition, respectively, one of the most important principles of didactics is clarity. The connection of the sensory and the rational in the educational process is important and necessary, because often the principle of clarity is formulated as the principle of unity of the abstract and concrete. Since the time of MV Lomonosov's clarity in the educational process was realized by demonstrating various experiments. The teacher's ability to take into account the mental state of students and the stages of their mental development ensures the guaranteed achievement of learning outcomes. Scientists build a model of the phenomenon in order to understand the essence, properties of the studied phenomenon, provided that it is impossible to observe due to objective reasons.
