Abstract
Computer modeling as a method of cognition. All possible connections of computer modeling with other methods of cognition are shown in experimental research. The findings are taken into account in order to improve the methodology of experimental study of the object of study, the development of a mathematical model and the improvement of the computer model. Studies of social and economic processes are characterized by the impossibility of fully using experimental methods. Computer simulation is a method of representing an object that is different from the real thing, but very close to the real reality, using which we study physicochemical, biological, chemical laws and experiments (which cannot be performed in real life). Computer modeling in a broad sense means the process of creating and researching models using a computer. The following types of modeling are distinguished in the study: physical modeling; dynamic modeling; simulation modeling; statistical modeling; information modeling; knowledge modelling.
