Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of mathematical anxiety, discusses the causes of its occurrence, the influence of parents and teachers on its severity and prevention. The absence of gender differences in the manifestations of mathematical anxiety has been established, and academic performance in mathematics directly depends on the stereotypes and prejudices of teachers. It was determined that the best way to prevent the emergence of mathematical anxiety is to study in an atmosphere of trust, focus on the achievements of each student and encourage the creative approach to the educational process.
