Abstract

The problem of rethinking didactic functions in a modern school textbook of literature is actualized. The current textbooks of Ukrainian literature for 10th and 11th grades (standard level) of the author's team of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in the aspect of productive realization of self-educational function are characterized.
