Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of trends in the formation of models for assessing the results of professional activity of the head of a school of general secondary education on the example of the OECD member countries. The distribution of countries into certain groups was carried out according to the subject of assessment. It was found that the choice of a specific model for assessing the performance of the school leader is determined by the political and economic tasks of the country's development.
