Abstract

The factors that influence the development of the STEAM-oriented educational environment of a general educational institution are considered and should be taken into account by the subjects of the educational process in creating and maintaining such an environment to provide young people with a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, creative thinking, ability to implement ideas, innovation, the ability to put scientific knowledge into practice in real life. The factors for the creation and development of STEAM-oriented educational environment of a general educational institution are such: education according to the needs of society; scientific education based on research; development of ICTs and their use for educational process within STEAM projects; training based on students' motivation to undertake research.
