Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of the experience of the European Union ( on the experience of Lithuania and Estonia) in the evaluation of teachers’ information and communication competence to review approaches and models of correction, its development in the rapid development of the information society. It is concluded that for the evaluation of teachers’ information and communication competence need knowledge of social analysis of the causes and results of the information society, the value of information and communication competence for education, information and communication technology for use in professional teaching.
