Abstract
The spread of the competency approach in higher economic education in the People's Republic of China has been analyzed. The competency model of training Business Economics specialists in higher educational institutions of China was considered. Emphasis was placed on the need to use the positive experience of China in higher education institutions of Ukraine to prepare future Bachelors in Economics.
