Abstract

The article deas with the determinants of psychological health of staff in conditions of social tension as well as the content and structure of staff psychological health. The author discusses a staff social tension-relevant psychological health determinants model and considers the psychological health determinants in conditions of social tension from three perspectives: macro-level (the level of the society), meso-level (the level of the organization) and micro-level (the level of the individual). There are four groups of personal determinants of psychological health: those related to the personal needs and motivation, as well as those related to the cognitive, emotional and communicative aspects of personality. Meso-level determinants include purely organizational determinants of staff psychological health, micro-level determinants include personal determinants related to the personal needs and motivation system, cognitive, emotional and communicative spheres, as well as staff professional and demographic characteristics. The determinants classification proposed by the author can be helpful in maintaining and improving staff psychological health in conditions of social tension and in unlocking human potential of the organization in conditions of social tension.
