Abstract

The article analyzes the scientific literature on the selected topic, emphasizes the problem of studying speech genres in Ukrainian language lessons, considers the differences between the speech act and the speech genre, highlights the genre characteristics of condemnation based on the genre passport. The main aspects of the functioning of the speech genre of condemnation are studied. The peculiarities of using the text to study the speech genre of condemnation are highlighted on the example of exercises.
