Abstract
During the practical implementation of the main ideas of the New Ukrainian School, the formation and development of the national education system, the issues of updating the content, improving the forms, methods and technology of teaching Ukrainian at primary school are particularly relevant. At the Ukrainian National School, language is the first and most important subject. Learning Ukrainian in elementary school requires special methods, special forms, methods and technology of teaching. That is why the proposed concept of teaching Ukrainian in primary school takes into account the priority aspects: linguistic, pedagogical, psychological, socio-cultural.
