Abstract

The tutorial describes the scientific and methodological principles of the modernist text study subject to the style. The conditions, stages, methods, techniques, and forms of educational activity during a structural-stylistic analysis of the artistic text are described, the necessary theoretical explanations are given, the system of introductory classes for review and monographic topics is proposed. Examples of structural and stylistic analysis of the works of art by Charles Baudelaire, Ivan Bunin, Knut Hamsun, Marcel Proust, James Joyce are constructed in the form of a lesson. The tutorial defines the criteria for evaluating the acquired knowledge and skills, proposes variants of tests, creative and control works. For teachers of foreign literature history, methods of world literature teaching, students of philological specialties, teachers of Ukrainian and foreign literature.
