Abstract

The article describes a series of scientific and methodological seminars on the history of education, which are held at the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine. The priority tasks of such measures are to comprehend existing and develop new approaches to research in the field of history of Ukrainian and foreign education, to assist scientists in carrying out research tasks for obtaining new historical and pedagogical knowledge, popularization of the history of pedagogy as an important component of pedagogical science and professional education of educators, improvement their qualifications.
