Abstract
In the concept of the creative laboratory conducted by Olena Voznesens'ka and Volodymyr Savinov in August 2008 in the program of the art-therapeutic project "Art-Kaleidoscope" at Cape Kazantip (Shcholkine, Crimea, Ukraine) and in February 2009 at the VI Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Space of Art Therapy: Structure, Chaos, Element” (Kyiv, Ukraine), application of two theatrical-dramatic practices (dramatherapy & Playback Theatre) in art-therapeutic work on the subject of human relations and women. The characteristic features of the dramatherapy method, its advantages and therapeutic possibilities are analyzed, among them: disclosure of the creative potential and resources of the client's self-healing, development of spontaneity and flexibility through the play character, awareness of behavioral and physical patterns, "directing" of one's own life, overcoming mutual alienation due to combinations of private and social, etc. The advantages of Playback Theatre, which also contribute to the explore of the stated theme, are described, namely: 1) features of the theatre form itself – spontaneity, interactivity, appeal to unconscious processes; 2) professionally important qualities of Playback actors – emotionally subtle expressiveness, creative imagination and mastery of interaction; 3) psychotherapeutic effects for the active Playback spectator (teller of story) – appropriation of one's own experience, rethinking the situation and responding to feelings. Four levels of mental reality are distinguished and characterized, at which a theatrical-dramatic therapeutic explore of male-female relationships takes place within the laboratory and, at the same time, the development of gender-role identity and personal maturity of the participants: 1) value; 2) intrapersonal; 3) behavioral and 4) historical.
