Abstract
The theses present data on the statistically significant influence of individual traits of a professional and demographic character (age, specialty, position and length of stay) of various groups of teachers - methodologists, directors of educational institutions and teachers - on their determination of the conceptual and methodological aspects of the organization of the final assessment of applicants for basic secondary education. It is proved that the gender factor of various categories of teachers has practically no effect on the definition of the conceptual and methodological foundations of the state final certification of applicants for basic education, except for a slight influence on the positive perception by teachers of the idea of introducing an external independent assessment at this educational level.
