Abstract
In the abstracts, the problem of the need to change the procedure and technology for conducting state final certification of applicants for education at different educational levels, including the completion of a basic school (gymnasium) in accordance with the Concept of a new Ukrainian school, is analyzed. On the basis of a statistical analysis of empirical data obtained during a survey of methodologists from district (city) teaching rooms (centers) from different regions of Ukraine, the most significant potential factors were identified for influencing the negative attitude of respondents to the idea of introducing state final certification in the form of an external independent assessment of gymnasium graduates.
