Abstract
It is stated that in order to successfully form the key competences in the field of natural sciences and technologies, it is necessary to actively use computer-oriented technical means in the educational process. And working with computer models in physics lessons contributes to the development of cognitive activity of students, positively influences the formation of both the motivational and substantive-procedural component of the subject competence of students. It is emphasized that the selection of tools should adhere to a number of principles: scientific, visual, systematic and consistent, accessibility, cognitive visualization, compression, individualization. Particular attention is paid to the individual work of students using computer models, where students independently conduct experiments, have the ability to influence the course of the process. It is emphasized that students' success is increasing with the systematic use of individual tasks on the basis of computer models. It is noted that when working individually with computer models (such as Phet simulations), students can observe, experiment, investigate, formulate hypotheses, and immediately test them through simulation, which gives rise to competence in the natural sciences and technologies. At the same time, when working with computer technology, children learn the basics of digital literacy, learn to independently seek and critically evaluate information, which is an essential criterion for the formation of information and communication competence. By establishing the mathematical dependencies of the physical quantities reflected in the model, due to the modeling of processes, using mathematical measurements, determining the physical quantities, mathematical competence is formed.
