Abstract
The article identifies and reveals such peculiarities of independent work organization at Ukrainian language lessons for the Lyceum students: the active usage of cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) in the student’s project activities; changing the situation of using the educational text; the usage of reference media resources as an effective means of teaching the Ukrainian language. The advantages of cloud storage for the project activities of students are highlighted (the ability to clearly and consistently structure the content of the developed educational resource; convenient organization of group and individual project activities, the creation of appropriate conditions for improving the skills of high school students to work with reference books, etc., providing systematic remote monitoring of educational cognitive activity). The expediency to change the situation using the educational text with the help of “flipped classroom” method is noted, and it is proposed to expand the stage of perception and understanding by tasks, providing the interpretation of information, its addition and transformation. It is emphasized that the function of applying the text in teaching the Ukrainian language should be changed from informational-representative to cognitively-stimulating, since knowledge becomes a means of achieving a certain goal but not as an end in itself. The expediency of familiarizing students with the possibilities of media resources during independent work in the Ukrainian language has been proved. The author comes to the conclusion that taking into account the distinguished and disclosed features of independent work organization at Ukrainian language lessons for the Lyceum students will contribute to the effective development of sense of responsibility and organization among senior pupils, the acquisition of self-learning experience. The active use of cloud storage, changing the situation of text usage, familiarizing students with the possibilities of media resources for self-education and self-development will create interconnected formation of subject and key competencies of students, stimulate their independent educational and cognitive activities.
