Abstract
The article describes the levels of the main types of teaching staff's tolerance and analyzes the effects of socio-demographic factors (staff's age, gender and marital status) on the main types of their tolerance. Interpersonal, managerial and intergenerational tolerance have been found to be the most developed types of tolerance for educational organizations' staff. It has been discovered that teaching staff's age and gender have the greatest influence on some types of their tolerance, while teaching staff's marital status has weaker effects on their tolerance. It has been also found that teaching staff's age affects their intergenerational, gender, professional and political tolerance. There are differences between men and women in the levels of interpersonal, inter-ethnic, intercultural, professional, and managerial tolerance. It has been shown that women have higher tolerance than men. It has been also found that teaching staff's marital status affected their socio-economic tolerance: married respondents have higher managerial and socio-economic tolerance than unmarried ones. The author concludes that the research findings can improve psychological support for and promote the development of teaching staff's tolerance in educational organizations.
