Abstract

Today, there is a growing demand for improving the quality, productivity and efficiency of domestic research. Therefore, the problem of development of information and research competence of scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff in the aspect of using information and communication technologies is urgent. This study raises the problem of acquiring the knowledge, skills and knowledge of researchers and pedagogical staff on the use of Google Scholar (Google Academy), which provides an opportunity to evaluate their professional activities in order to improve the effectiveness of research.
