Abstract

The study identifies current, strategic and predictive trends in the development of school education in the Republic of Poland at the present stage, namely: modernization of the content and structure of education; democratization of education; further improvement of the decentralization vector in education; enhancing the prestige of the teaching profession; building a lifelong learning system; development of key competences; introduction of artificial intelligence and robotics in the educational process. It is concluded that the modernization vector of educational reforms in the Republic of Poland is synchronized with the EU strategic policy, namely with the strategic European documents (“Europe 2020”, “Horizon 2020”, “Education 2030”, etc.).
