Abstract

The article considers the modern theories of leadership of teachers, attention is drawn to the need to apply various forms of leadership, both in the management of the teaching staff and in the work with students and their parents. According to the results of the diagnostics, it has been established that the teacher, an authentic leader, possesses such qualities as self-confidence, ability to be a good mentor and organizer of activity, responsibility, willingness to help others, sociability, flexibility in applying social roles.
