Abstract
The developed technology consists of four stages: problematization (definition of goals and strategies of the project of professional development, construction of a reference model of a practical psychologist); organizational (definition of possible organizational forms of implementation of the objectives of the project of professional development in a particular professional team); individual and psychological (awareness of the person's goals and educational interests in this project); training of professional self-improvement. It has been shown that in the process of self-designing of professional development the specialist's efforts are aimed at forming goals of self-improvement; educational and professional tasks ("embedded" in professional activity); on the internal elaboration of ways and means of realizing these goals and objectives. The ability to set such tasks is the basic mechanism of professional self-improvement activity, and the realization of the goals of self-improvement through this educational and professional task is carried out on condition of subject’s inclusion in the context of continuing education has been determined. Adaptive and active types of professional development of practical psychologists have been described.
