Abstract

Economic, social and political instability of Ukraine causes the transformation of perception of yourself and the world among the adolescence. This requires the choice of optimal life direction, that would help to maintain the integrity of internal world and realization of own life potential. Life perspective is an individual construction, image of desirable and conscious future life, in complex and contradictory interconnection of programmed and expected events which are formed under the influence of experience, motivation and values and reflect the result of taken decision. There are two dimensions within the structure of life perspective: temporal (life values, plans, programs) and semantic (values, semantic constructions and dispositions). During adolescence the own future has more importance, but youth life plans are not realistic enough, reflect high demands and maximalism in the choice of life values. The research of psychological features of life perspective of youth was performed on the premises of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University using the following methodologies: questionnaire of temporal perspective F. Zimbardo, test of purpose of life orientation by D.Leontiev. According to the results we verified the existence of purpose of life, strict hierarchy of values and high creative potential of youth. However the direction to getting satisfaction in today and lack of personal responsibility for the realization of made plans are observed. There are also traced low material motivation, not enough structuring of time of life, placing life tasks only for nearest future.
