Abstract

Testing and assessing the digital competency of the student and teacher is an important issue, because in the rapidly changing technological world of today, it is necessary for every student, student or worker to use effectively digital skills in almost every field of activity, and to assess the basic level of knowledge and skills in information technology. to the general public is a difficult task. To meet this challenge, Slovakia has been running an IT fitness test since 2010. The purpose of the IT test was to test the digital competence and skills of primary and secondary school students, as well as to self-test the level of knowledge of information technology teachers and to obtain analytical information from the slice of knowledge.
