Abstract
Improvement of the educational process at the present stage of development of the education system is characterized by the transition from subject-oriented to student-oriented learning of students, including in the direction of expedient use of active teaching methods, which provides a deep insight into the essence of the studied problems, thereby improving activities of each student and his interest in learning the theory of probability. The mathematics teacher becomes the organizer of a fascinating cognitive, research activity of students, which is based on the curiosity of the pupils and develops their motivation for learning. The teacher creates the necessary and sufficient conditions for students to learn with interest from different sources, learn to use knowledge to perform a variety of cognitive and practical tasks. The teacher assists not only in defining the theme and purpose of the project, but also in all subsequent stages of its implementation. The use of design-based research approaches in the educational process contributes not only to the formation of interest in the subject "Probability Theory", but also develops memory, observation, logical thinking, creative abilities of students. Students learn how to hypothesize, sort and process materials, identify the main things, and draw conclusions while developing communication and communication skills.
