Abstract

In the article the author analyzes different aspects of creating a new effective system of teaching Ukrainian in general secondary education institutions. The new system of teaching Ukrainian should take into account the specifics of the current linguistic and socio-political situation in Ukraine, the mental state of the population and the educational level of people.
