Abstract

The key to building an optimal Ukrainian education system is current world and domestic educational trends, theory of generations, scientific foundations and experience of educational competence, and key competences and requests for 21st century skills: creativity, innovation; plasticity of mind; systematic rational critical thinking; the ability to collect and process a significant amount of information, comprehensively solve problems and make optimal decisions; media literacy and knowledge of the basics of ICT; sociability; the ability to manage people; ability for team collaboration; ability to work remotely, interdisciplinary, on the frontier of professions; continuing education, etc.
