Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the pedagogical conditions of ICT choice for teaching computational science, the main task is to demonstrate the developed guidelines for introductory laboratory training course in numerical methods, the object of study is the process of computer-based teaching of university students, the subject is the tools of implementing numerical algorithms. Research methods: 1) theoretical – study of the works of Ukrainian authors on the problems of the use of ICT in the learning of numerical methods; 2) empirical – a study of the current state of university students training to the use of ICT in the learning of numerical methods, monitoring, summarizing teaching experience. The results are practical tasks for introductory laboratory course work in numerical methods to perform in a spreadsheet environment and computer algebra systems, the results of the tasks and content of the course. Key conclusions and recommendations: students’ skills in effective combination of ICT tools and the knowledge of alternatives should be formed.
