Abstract
The author analyzes issues related to the natural return of Ukraine to the European space, which will contribute to the formation of pro-European thinking in the Ukrainian people, the willingness to build the state and the Ukrainian new school in particular. European values will be effective components of an effective educational process (system of value orientations of the individual) if: the content of education will correspond to the pan-European context; to enrich the content of basic educational subjects with valuable knowledge and meanings, information about European democratic achievements, values and ideals; harmonize national and pan-European components; to form the competences necessary for living in the European community; the acquired values will acquire a significant systemic character and will have a regulatory impact on the personality, knowledge is projected into actions and actions.
