Abstract
The article presents the results of theoretical study of the psychological content of the phenomenon of health from the perspective of the latest research in psychological science. The authors analyze the differences between the concepts of "mental health" and "psychological health" and discuss the existing approaches to understanding their content. The authors view mental health as an important component of an individual's health that ensures the full functioning of all mental structures of the individual. The psychological support for and promotion of employees' health, which stir up researchers' interest, are considered as the important practical tasks of modern organizations in conditions of social tension. The article discusses the challenges in researching the phenomenon of health by organizational psychologists. The components of organizational health have been shown to include the individual employees' health as an ability to be professionally efficient in a changing organizational environment; the employees' health in a specific organization as a strategic resource and the condition for the effective functioning and development of the organization; healthy organization as the basis for the prevention of organizational dysfunctions. It is emphasized that a healthy organization is focused on promoting employees' health in a specific organization, which implies the harmonious functioning of the optimal components of a healthy organization.
