Abstract
Musically gifted personality is considered as integrity, which unites separate indicators of musical talent at a higher system value level. Musically gifted students demonstrate higher rates of sense-life orientations (SLO) and self-efficacy (CE) compared to average. The revealed tendencies make it possible to conclude that in the student's age a value attitude towards abilities is formed as the basis of personal self-development and its level is higher, the more a person meets the attributes of a gifted personality. Additional arguments in favor of this provision are the following empirical results: 1) higher indicators of SLO and CE for students who do not show signs of giftedness but develop their learning abilities; 2) higher SLO and CE rates for students with achievements other than academic ones, as well as in other types of activities.
