Abstract

In the theses, attention is focused on the information support of basic educational institutions and on the consideration of sources of information as the basis of public management of basic educational institutions, educational and all processes in an institution, management decisions, etc. In addition, it is noted that the current stage of development of infrared technologies, social communications and the Internet, as an unprecedented channel of communication and information dissemination, virtually releases all restrictions, “blurs” borders and provides opportunities for free and equal access to various information and knowledge. And also, it actualizes the task of popularizing new library services — online libraries or “digital libraries”, which are an important and necessary element of the global information and information infrastructure, whose adaptation to the digital media environment becomes a necessity and a powerful chance for both personal development and the development of digital societies in the context of the continuous expansion of the information space of knowledge.
