Abstract

The monograph presents the results of many years of experimental experimental studies of the employees of the Laboratory of Giftedness Psychology of the Institute of Psychology. G.S. Kostyuka APS of Ukraine, dedicated to the problem of psychological factors of development of a gifted person. On the basis of the theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem and the generalization of the data on the study of the life-creativity of outstanding (accomplished) scientists, technicians, politicians, and art from different eras, the system-forming factors of the formation of a gifted person are highlighted; the features of the development of a talented personality at different stages of ontogenesis (adolescence, early adolescence, early maturity) are revealed; The principles of the development of creative abilities in children and young people are formulated, and the psychological characteristics of raising a child in a family are determined. The monograph is designed for professional psychologists, teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students, students, as well as a wide range of teachers, heads of educational institutions of various types of educational systems and parents interested in the development of a gifted child.
