Abstract

The theses identify the main competency characteristics that conceptually distinguish the textbooks prepared by the authors of the Institute of Pedagogics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Holub N., Goroshkina O., Novoselova V.). It is noted that in general the textbook is directed at 4 indicators of levels of formation of key competencies of students: cognitive, value, emotional and behavioral, which exaggerates it among others, and gives grounds to be called an innovative textbook.
